You are on the right path. Excuse all spelling. Possibilities for the future may include:
    1. Legal research with pharmicutically pure psychodelics, with researchers that are educated with the roles that these drugs play.

2.As of now all manufacture and use of psychodelics are legal above the ionsphere.

3.Rare licenses were issued to chemist like Alaxander Shulgan, so the government could be in control, of all discovered psychedelics. I feel as though some of these chemists were not faithfull to the government, and stockpiled ( unknown to the rest of the world ) chemicals that would find there way to the sreets sometime soon. Chemicals more advanced then LSD. Specific in psychic functions, turning anyone into a psychedelic superman. Bill

Not meaning to make it my business, but it is my perspective that the naivete expressed in your post reflects just the sort of attitude, with its fixation on psychedelics as buffers against true responsibility of self-work, that Antero's new book - and indeed Angel Tech, which was written over 20 years ago - is not endorsing at all (and even appropriately slandering), instead offering a much-needed alternative of real-life application and integration.

Spirituality without drugs! Oh my God ! !

    Yea....

Psychedelic Superman - taken from one of Wilson's books

Electronic devices like in the book "megabrain" may replace drugs. Wilson turned me onto megabrain after he tried one of the machines that effected the visual range like LSD . You know like geometrical figures. I thouht Lilley gave the best descreption of hallucinations calling it a " Three dimentional projected display". I am trying to build a device myself using the aether feild, and the frequency range between 0 and 20 hertz - the same as the human brain. It's a simple experiment using an inert gas beam generater ( Argon ), with a double terminating quartz crystal powered by 30,000 volt pulse generater. I have not had any luck with the electronic part though. either a wrong component or something wired incorrectly.
If you every experienced any psychic abilities under the influence LSD or other psychedelics, there is a definate potential there. Bill

After reading your post, I can only repeat what I have said.

If you still think the exhilirating rush of a psychadelic experience is going to give you the continuity of what you are really looking for I think you are quite deluded.

I have expererienced a lot of psychic abilities under the influence of LSD and othe psychedelics - for many years. My question for you is, have you experienced such things NOT under the influence of psychedelics, and have you found a proper way to integrate such experiences into the functioning of your everyday life and a way to communicate what you have seen and felt into the dynamic expression of your whole being on a level of sincerity and honesty? Are they synergistic with the existing conditions of your life?

If you are starting to think about this then maybe a book like Angel Tech or Alli's new book might be for you.

The wonderful thing about psychoactive agents such as LSD, ayahuasca, DMT, peyote, psylocibin, etc., is how easy it is. Anybody of reasonably sound mind can benefit from their effects. And to do so, it's as simple as eating, drinking or chewing food. As such, psychoactive agents make up a populist route to expanded consciousness.

The problem with attaining similar effects without using these drugs is that it requires a lot more time, terrific investment of commitment and energy and an ongoing regime of self-discipline. As such, non-drug methods for expanded consciousness are decidedly elitist (not populist), not because they're superior but simply due to the fact that most people do not have the time, commitment, energy and self-discipline to make it happen.

Having gone both routes myself, I have discovered that my temperment is better suited to non-drug methods of ritual rapture, brain pleasure and consciousness expansion. Though I have fond memories of my early psychedelic trips, I find deeper satisfaction in the ability to regulate my energies and states of being, much like one might regulate the dose of their drug of choice. The neuropharmacy of my own brain also supplies me with an endless resource of pure, untainted drugs and all free of financial cost. Of course there's always a price anyone pays for brain change, with and without drugs and I prefer the tax incurred by my own supply.

Mr. Sherpa. Have you ever done isolation chamber floating in water or whatever? Sensory deprivation? If so, what types of experiences have you had and what did you learn or take away from these types of experiences?

Yes, Mr. M, I have logged in float time in samadhi isolation tanks. They were very big in the late seventies here in Berkeley and I was able to afford about ten separate floats over a period of five weks; twice a week. My experiences varied from simple muscle relaxation to profound circuit one reimprinting. The experience differs for everybody since it's such a highly personal event -- floating alone in the total blackness of a large coffin-shaped chamber half-filled with heavy salined water solution heated to exactly 98.6 degrees.

I highly recommend the experience of floating in an isolation tank. The tanks are harder to find these days and more expensive to rent time in them but it's worth it if you've never done it before. This link goes to a list of locations worldwide where you can maybe find one near where you live:

How long would you suggest I float for? Thanks for the link, just found one in outer suburban Melbourne. $39 AUD for 1 hour to $80 for 3 hours!

First time float: one hour. Don't do it after eating unless you really want to hear and feel your entire digestive process. Some places pipe in music into the tank and so if you want silence, you may want to ask about that.

could you say some more about circuit 1 reimprinting? as i think about this more and more coming up to my first session (when i get paid in a weeks time or so) it seems like the ultimate surrender to physical passivity. can one overdo it? it seems like it would be the cure to something like heroin addiction or any chapel perilous-like experience in general. the ultimate inner stillness... could it be that good? ill have to wait and find out..

Your concept of "the ultimate inner stillness" expresses a silly C-3 preconception. No blame; we are all a bit C-3 silly here. Look to your direct experience of C-1 when actually floating for further instructions. Your body will tell you everything you need to know. The C-3 challenge is finding out how receptive you can be to C-1 signals without imposing any C-3 plans to imprint it. My advice, as usual: check in with the source first and then, create your maps afterwards.

"Your body will tell you everything you need to know."

                        nuff said ;)
                        • “Throughout human history, as our species has faced the frightening, terrorizing fact that we do not know who we are, or where we are going in this ocean of chaos, it has been the authorities -- the political, the religious, the educational authorities -- who attempted to comfort us by giving us order, rules, regulations, informing and forming our minds to their view of reality. To think for yourself you must question authority and learn how to put yourself in a state of vulnerable open-mindedness, chaotic, confused vulnerability to inform yourself.” -- Timothy Leary

I think this quote from Leary may be, more than any other by him, most closely aligned with my personal philosophy, especially the part about "a state of vulnerable open-mindedness, chaotic, confused vulnerability". Sometimes, the search for (and fixation with) clarity, certitiude and scientific or logical approval masks an, as of yet, unchecked insecurity and an unwillingness to embrace uncertainty as an objective truth. I'm sorry (not really) but Chaos is my friend. Any state of genuine uncertainty presents itself to me as a creative state, that is, as long as I am responsible for managing my anxieties when reminded of how little I can control or comprehend. Yeehaw!

There's day spa here in Denver that has a couple tanks. I guess someone donated their personal tank to them a few years back and enough people were interested in it that they invested in a couple new ones.

anyhow, I did 5 one hour floats about a year and a half ago and another one about a month ago. The first three were all about they same. After five to ten minutes of settling into the tank and into a slow, deep breathing pattern, I dropped into a dreamy timeless state for what I assume was about 45 minutes. The sessions were timed for one hour and it was if my body knew the time because I would come out of the dream state and "wake up" and within a few minutes the spa worker would knock on the tank signaling that the session was over.

Someone described it as rebooting your computer and that's the best description I've heard for my experience.

Somewhere in the 4th or 5th session, I started experiencing a heavy tension in my shoulders. I just felt uncomfortable in that damn tank and stopped going, but last month when I went, things were back to normal.

There's a place in Berkeley called Float. Or at least there used to be. Someone I know from the STUD opened it with a friend. I never went because I dont like her. She's a psychopath that beat up her girlfriend on a regular basis then would pretend she was the victim. Well. The girlfriend is dead now and Miz Yuppy Thang opened up Float. She's on Tribe too. I forget her name. I despise her. When 911 happened I was calling my friend that was her roommate at the time. She's asked what it has to do with him. I was like "Um. He has family in NY. The planes are flying into buildings. Mass chaos. He's my friend. I'm letting him know what's live on the tv. Thank you. Goodbye."

ANYWAYS!!! I havent done it for years. A friends father had one in their garage and we used to smoke weed and drop acid and go in it. It's pretty incredible till your friends decide they think it will be fun to lock you in for over an hour. One time I thought I'd become one with a toxic ocean that was totally dead and had no movement or life in it. And I couldnt move. Just lay there and be. And I just knew that there was a big evil monster that was coming soon to kill me. Then my friends open it up after the timer went off and are all laughing and playing. I was so completely disturbed I just had to go home immediately and go lay in bed. I was always glad when we timed them. Usually for 1 or 2 hours. Sometimes when we didnt we'd go for 3 - 5 hours and lose all track of time. It would feel like I was going insane most of the time. Probably because I was. But that's WHY we used to do it and drop acid and do most things we did back then. It was like experimenting with seeing how bad we could scare the shit out of ourselves and live through it. It's own type of thrill seeking. When most kids my age then were still getting their jollies at the BMX park. : )

Let me please clarify that this person was only a customer at the STUD. AND, that she didnt kill her girlfriend. But she did treat her like shit and they fought all the time. I know a few people that fully HATE her. I pretty much always thought she was full of shit. It's not really jealousy. But when someone brags regularly about making over 90K a year to someone that makes less that 40? It's like "Cool Beeotch. So youre buying the drinks?" lol Hey. I have a great idea. Let's pull out our stubbs and compare our savings and checking account balances. That sounds like great fun!!! Whoopeeeee!!!!! : )

Maybe the will help a little
When first contact was made I belived with all my heart that it was from a higher intelligece such as extraterrestrials. The last time, about a year ago, after a Mufon meeting here on Long Island NY. I realized that it was Angels (messengers of GOD ! ). I turned to the bible for help. I asked God for guidence. I came about a website by Sherry Shriner such as " Orgone blasters " The gas beam generater came from a book " Einstine dosent work here any more. The pulse generator came from plans , again , from Tesla, coincedentaly with the same freqency of the human brain, used for lightning experements, as well as Kirlian photography, and Jacobs ladder. Tesla was working on the theory of Dark energy known as aether before he died . Scientific American wrote many articles about dark energy, which can be found on the internet. Most, if not all of my life was following a physics proffessor's theory ( Robert L. Carroll ) on Neutron fusion - A nonradioactive way to harness the full potential of the atom for energy. He knew that it would be able to travel 30 millions times the speed of light in space, making space travel possible . He wrote the book " The Eternity Equation". This book showed how 5 grams of Hydrogen cuold be converted, into the equivalent of 30,000 gallons of gasoline. Keneth Shoulders, ( Energy Scientist of the year of 1997) dissagreed with Carroll. Following up on Shoulders, led me to his involvement with the CIA'S Mind Control microchip project. If you take a good look around, you will find the human race close to the failure of the money system. I find that 6.1 of the revolations is close at hand. Such things as Conspiracies of Chemtrails an Nasa's project " Blue Beam" may be just around the corner. follow up on some of these topics and it may not be so far fetched,. Bill
